Outcome = the largest integrated Health and Social Care Trust in the United Kingdom.
The numbers represent people.
Belfast Trust is the largest integrated Health and Social Care Trust in the United Kingdom with a workforce of over 20,000 (full time and part time). The Trust delivers integrated health and social care to approximately 340,000 citizens in Belfast and provides the majority of regional specialist services to all of Northern Ireland.
Without people, the Trust’s vision would not be achieved and the numbers would just not add up!
The Trust vision;
To continuously improve health and social care delivery and foster innovation in pursuit of this goal. We will seek to achieve the right balance between providing more health and social care in, or closer to, people’s homes and supporting the specialist delivery of acute care, thereby delivering positive outcomes for the people who use our services.
Similar to the Belfast Trust we know that our outcome would not be achieved without people, including staff and customers. Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years and we have customers that have been utilising our products and services for nearly 30 years.
They all play an important part in helping us to continually improve our products and services. The positive outcome we all benefit from is sharing knowledge.
We have a dedicated Client Relationship Team who travel throughout the country visiting our customers. James, from this team, presented Dolores Collins and Mark Ruddy with a plaque celebrating our partnership, for over 20 years they have been a valued customer.

He went on to say… “The Trust has recently launched the Portal for Management Referrals and they are already getting great feedback from managers about the new process!”
During his visit James shared new ideas to improve process, including automating update emails to managers on progress and making reports available online for security and data purposes. James also showed Mark how to reduce the amount of time spent each month on reporting by generating excel reports directly from eOPAS.
