Lung Function Testing in the Workplace - Introductory Level

A one day course on Thursday the 25th of October for those embarking on spirometry in the workplace.  The course provides an introduction to respiratory physiology; (hands on) practicalities of spirometry; simple interpretation of results; discussion of respiratory surveillance in the workplace for short and long latency respiratory diseases and quality control.

Registration fee: £150 NHS/self funding, £200 non NHS /corporate - Includes hand-outs, lunch and refreshments.

Suitable for: Occupational Health Professionals (including OH Technicians) only, who have relatively limited (or no) experience of spirometry.  Not aimed at those who are already well experienced in spirometry.

Accreditation: An attendance certificate is provided.

NB: Due to intensive nature of the course we can only accommodate 12 delegates at each event.
