Accident / Incident Management

Health and Safety Management Software, Risk Assessments, Accident Reporting, Incident Reporting, Health and Safety Software

The Accident/Incident module contained within SMS (Safety Management System) allows users to input data in a structured format which then allows the data to be used for detailed analysis and reporting functions. All accidents, near misses and incidents can be recorded onto the system using a series of User Defined codes. This allows organisations to configure the system to meet their own specific requirements and thus avoids the usual time spent trying to achieve a fit to an 'Off the shelf' system. The reporting functions allow organisations to take a proactive approach to Accidents/Incidents by allowing for the identification of trends and problem areas and then relevant controls/actions can be implemented resulting in the reduction of such events and a consequent improvement in efficiency.

Key Features:

  • Type of Incident - Personal Injury, Near Miss, Environmental etc.
  • Business Unit and Work Area structures - Able to define exact location for reporting functions
  • Actions / Investigations module - Required actions and events can be recorded (email integration)
  • Cause Factors - User defined or DNV Scat

Key Benefits:

  • Allows for problem areas and trends to be highlighted
  • Identifies training needs, TNA
  • Ensures that ongoing actions are managed and completed to achieve a safer work environment
  • Helps to reduce Accident / Incident Rates and lowers related costs
  • Improves productivity
