OPAS - Occupational Practitioners Administration Software

The Occupational Health Services of Derwent Shared Services have been using the CASS OPAS system for years. Since 1992 we have upgraded to a multi-user networked OPAS database with 13 licences and 4 remote licences. This allows staff to enter data via desktop and laptop computers in all locations, both NHS and private industry, across the whole of Southern Derbyshire. Administrative staff, nursing staff and physicians have all found it to be user friendly following training. We use it to log all OH activities including meetings, on-site visits, recalls and since January 2005 clinical diary management. The CASS OPAS system is also used to monitor activities against our key performance indicators providing our customers with quality reports.

We have found the Help Desk support team to be helpful and reliable and quick to respond to our calls.
